OCDHDTV...

it's weird, because i am constantly making fun of Clark for his OCD-ish quirks...but i find myself eating not only eating donuts and french fries with forks these days...but i realized that when i get a water from the vending machine i'll only get it from the E-7 row. even though the same water is in rows E3 thru E9. it sucked when the water was out in that row and i had to wait for it to be filled.

at least i'm drinking water again.

Dear Mr. Jones

For the last year I've feared that it could come to this. And apparently it has. I warned that I would leave the side of my dearest Cowboys if the Dallas Cowboys signed Terrell 'troublemaker' Owens...And it appears that's the route they're going. This is the difference between male and female fans I suppose. Getting all "emotionally involved". I have no ties to Dallas nor Texas, so I have no reason to stay a supportive fan with T.O. on the team. I guess my 23 years of unconditional love and support does have a condition and they just HAD to go and point that out, didn't they? Oh well, I haven't been able to find my favorite Cowboys blanket in over a year, so I guess it was a sign. Now, they'll probably go out an win the damn SuperBowl in '07. That would be SO like them.

no seriously, Raise YOUR F%#@ing Hands YO....

Somewhere between the trailer park and the nearest Wet Seal…A blend of cheap perfume and big hair… Something along the lines of church, the Wiggles, the 80s and an exorcism… If this were the 15th century, the Inquisition would no doubt charge this guy for putting these people under his spell. Yes, it's the one and only Jon Bon Jovi. And if ever there was a phenomenal place to people watch it was March 6th, 2006 at Key Arena/Seattle, WA. When Luke asked what the average age of concert goers was… Clark and I were stumped. Uhhh….12 to 65 I guess. Who knows. The girls standing next to us could have been 13 or 34. I couldn't tell! Say what you will about Bon Jovi, but damn can those guys perform. I mean, they have an unbelievable energy. You would never guess that this is only one of thousands of shows. Who does two encores?? At the latest in Sister traditions…our men joined us for the show. Well, we kinda dragged them. But they were there nonetheless.

The great northwest was just that. Great. We started the weekend with a fantastic dinner at Palisade followed by post dinner drinks at Pier 67. Sunday started of wonderfully with breakfast and a Nova win. The day continued with some time at Sport so I could get that burger I'd been dying to get. I ended up with chicken. Oh well. The SuperSonics game was a super surprise when Scott casually mentioned that our tickets were Courtside. I don't think anything else can bring out that kind of sparkle in Clark's eyes. We sat right next the Seattle bench and I definitely didn't watch the first quarter because I was too busy listening to the bench talk trash. It was great. And yes, Ray Allen calves are even more scary in person.

A mini Spa day with the sister and the afore mentioned Bon Jovi concert helped round out our weekend which Clark and I agreed to be one of the most relaxing ever. It's hard to not love Seattle. A little rain here and there, not such a big deal. Being there in January for the 27 straight days …might have been a different story.

XOXO
