Nonetheless...

A little madness, a little kindness, makes for happiness

hey, i hear it's February now...

I haven't updated any web-ish type places in a long time. February has been filled with many things, but mostly the passing of time. Where did the first two months of '06 go?! So far this month, we've had some visitors to casa de ocho palmas, a lot of work/work related trips, one snow filled visit to NY for a wedding (after which, we got stuck in the NY blizzard for an extra day of uber cold vaca), ummm lots o' sports (super bowl, ncaa, nba all-star weekend... don't feel bad for me, it's what i signed up for...), but *gasp* not a concert in the whole month?! what the heck. But alas, March is just around the corner which will bring our monthly out of state trip this time taking us up to the rainy northwest to Seattle. A Sonics game, a little Bon Jovi, maybe some shopping...heck, I'll even ride in the Sister-Hummer-mobile without complaining! March brings a total of 5 concerts so far which always brings a smile to my face. Everything from Bon Jovi, to TrizzyP, to Guster, to David Gray and then Little Brother... Oh my! And we can't forget the annual 76ers/Clippers game. Who ever thought I'd be this into basketball?! not me, that's for sure. I never expected to be this excited for a b-ball game, to be writing down game schedules in my Franklin Covey or giving a crap what the ncaa rankings are come Monday morning! Who is this girl? Anyhow, March will no doubt be nutty. i can't wait.

The wedding plannin' is going well. Appointments to looks at places, things, tasty treats and frilly, colorful, sparkly apparel fills my calendar. It's good to be king...if you know what I'm referring to...give yourself a 10 minute timeout in the corner and seriously consider not using the internet for 1 full week, at least. I, myself am considering taking that advice.

good luck with your day.
