The Snow Gods Have Spoken

The California Girl was gaining confidence in her snow running and walking abilities. It was late in the night when she got out of the car and ran across the snow covered lawn, ran up the snow covered stairs and approached the front patio. Just as she jumped up the stairs and reached the front door, she did not feel her feet hit the ground as they should have. Up into the air she went as she felt herself become perfectly horizontal in the air above the ground. And just as quickly as it happened, she felt herself slam onto the ground and become covered with snow. As she lay there laughing uncontrollably, her snow covered knight came to her rescue, brushing the snow off and leading her into the warm shelter. She should have listened to him as he yelled for her to be careful as she ran towards the house.
